Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has been found guilty on two out of five charges during a trial held on Wednesday, July 2, in New York.

The disgraced rap mogul was acquitted of three sex trafficking and racketeering offences, which included racketeering conspiracy, the sex trafficking of Casandra Ventura, and the sex trafficking of a Jane Doe.

However, Combs was found guilty of transporting both Ventura and Jane Doe for the purpose of prostitution, and he is now awaiting sentencing for these charges.

Each conviction could result in a maximum of 10 years in prison, potentially leading to a total of 20 years behind bars for these offences.

Prosecutors have argued that he should remain incarcerated until the sentencing hearing, while his attorneys have requested his release on bail as of today.

“It is clear that the defendant does pose a danger,” stated prosecutor Maurene Comey, who indicated that they will seek the full 20 years.
